Flint River And Community Cleanup This Saturday

Time  once again for some neighborhood Spring cleaning in Lapeer County all volunteers check in at the Home Depot, Rotary Park at 101 East Nepessing Street also at Cramton Park S. Main Street, and W. Genesee St./Old M-21 and Hunters Creek. Interested in sponsoring the 2012 Flint River and Community Cleanup? You can make a donation by contacting Rebecca Fedewa at 810-767-9559. All financial and in-kind donations collected for the cleanup go DIRECTLY toward the costs associated with the clean up, including  reusable water bottles, food, and beverage for our volunteers, equipment, and garbage disposal. 100% of your donation stays in your community.  For more information contact Peter McCreedy 810-614-7594.

In Genesee County the clean up locations are in Downtown Flint at the Capital Theater, Atwood Stadium, Flushing Riverview Park, Gilkey Creek/Pierce Park, Holloway Dam Canoe Access, Kearsley Park, Thread Lake – McKinley Park. Vietnam Veterans Park in  Flint. In conjunction with the Friends of the Flint River Trail’s Annual Trail Clean Up Riverbank Park: Amphitheater at the Riverfront Residence Hall.  Parking in lot on Garland and First.
