A Fox News affiliate is under fire for blurring out cubistic breasts on Pablo Picasso’s ‘The Women of Algiers’ after it sold for a record-breaking $179.4M for a painting at auction. The controversy began last week when a news anchor said “we decided to blur some of the nude portions of the painting so that we could show it to you on air.” The blurred picture ended up going viral with social media users taking to Twitter to vent over the censorship. "How sexually sick are conservatives & Fox News?" tweeted an art critic posting the Picasso blurred picture using the hashtag #SickMinds while another said the censorship was “pathetic.”
