High School artists from around Lapeer County have their work on exhibit at Gallery 194 now through Saturday, May 11th. A reception that is free and open to the public will take place Saturday, May 4th from 4pm to 6pm at the gallery featuring these talented student artists. The public will be able to meet and engage with artists while enjoying the art work all around them and enjoy free refreshments provided by the gallery.

Ninth through twelfth grade student artists from Imlay City, North Branch, the Lapeer Community Schools, Dryden, Almont, Kendall College of Art and Design Dual Enrollment Program and home school communities are part of the exhibit. With mediums ranging from charcoal, pencil, and watercolor to a variety of other paints plus sculpture, pottery, mixed media and more.

Gallery 194 is located in downtown Lapeer on the corner of Court and West Nepessing Streets next to the historic Pix Theater. Gallery 194 is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm: admission is free.
