October 16th is Global Cat Day, this is a day set aside to celebrate the movement of animal lovers who work day in and day out to help give cats a better and safer life.This special day is the idea of Alley Cat Allies who are an organization dedicated to protecting and improving all cat's lives through their innovative and cutting-edge programs. They are the only global advocacy organization dedicated to protecting and saving all cats.
Alley Cat Allies works with communities, shelters and veterinarians to help launch programs including spay and neuter clinics and Trap-Neuter-Return. The organization is driven to save and improve the lives of millions of cats/kittens worldwide and create a world where cats are valued and protected.
