Don't misunderstand! I love jewelry and flowers. I really like chocolate too. But a great meal out on Valentines Day is a win win. You both enjoy some good food and no one has to cook and clean up. Here are six great restaurants that I enjoy.

  • Whitey's Restaurant

Family owned and operated since 1955, famous for their fish and chips. They also serve fantastic steaks and other seafood dishes. Enjoy a great salad bar and your favorite beer, wine or cocktail at Whitey's.

  • E.G. Nicks

Great BBQ ribs, greek salads, and pizza. I also enjoy their planked Whitefish and Jack Daniels salmon. If you like pasta, go for the lasagna or black tie pasta. Don't forget the bread sticks at E.G. Nicks! You can also enjoy an alcoholic beverage from their bar.

  • Blind Fish

Featuring a raw oyster bar and several different varieties of surf & turf. My favorites here are the sizzling ribeye and the pecan crusted walleye. The Blind Fish also serves up a tasty chicken marsala. I love the warm, crusty loaves of bread served with every meal, and you can enjoy an adult beverage here as well.

  • The Lake Inn

Right on Lake Nepessing, serving fantastic BBQ ribs and pizza, fish & chips. I almost always order the pan fried walleye or the mandarin walnut chicken. The Lake Inn also serves very tasty burgers and steaks. Enjoy a cold beer or your favorite cocktail from their bar.

  • Lenny Miller's

Chef owned and operated and top shelf all the way. Featuring a full bar, great service, and a very eclectic menu. Lenny Millers features a fresh soup and salad bar, seafood, steaks and pasta. I have dreams about their peach rasberry chicken! Usually closed on Tuesday, but open this week for Valentines Day from 4 to 9pm.

  • Castaways

Castaways is another favorite with a great view of Lake Nepessing. Featuring shrimp, scallops, lobster and fish and chips. Also try their bayou pasta or flat iron steak. Start your meal with a Cabo Wabo margirita and their yummy baked crab and cheese dip.
