Last night at Little Caesars Arena the Detroit Red Wings did something they haven't done all season long, win three games in a row. The Wings got the victory in overtime beating the Ottawa Senators 2-1.
According to nhl.com, Andreas Athanasiou gave the Red Wings an overtime victory making NHL history in the process. Andreas tied the NHL record for fastest goal from the start of overtime when he scored six seconds into the extra session.
Friday night the Wings will try to make it four in a row when they host the Florida Panthers.
Here's the post game from Wednesday night.
