Horror Movie Flimed in Detroit & Beaver Island is Released

Yeah, I love a good scary movie, especially if it was filmed in Michigan.

Mlive is reporting that the horror movie Elder Island, which was filmed in Detroit and on Beaver Island that used about 90% Michigander crew, has been released. Elder Island features a real historical happening about a run away Mormon reverend who took his interpretation of his religion way too far, and eventually ended up getting assassinated by his followers in the 1850s.

I am a huge fan of horror movies and I am looking forward to seeing this one. I mean, just look at the crazy scary movie poster:
