Imlay City About To Become A One-Grocery Town

The past four years have given grocery shoppers in Imlay City a choice of two stores. There will soon be only one.The Sav-A-Lot store, formerly the Grocery Outlet and More, came to Imlay City about five months after the closing of the Lapeer location by the franchise.  The owner of the franchise, Khalid Zaitouna, announced last week that he'd sold the store to a group of investors. That leaves Kroger's as the only game in town, at least for now.
