John Fogerty is demonstrating his skills as an actor.  The former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman is appearing in the debut episode of the new Fox series "The Finder," which launches this week. Fogerty tells Billboard.com his role was written specifically for him, and the storyline was inspired by actual events that happened to him.  He explains that it's "kind of their take" on his life, and adds that he was "surprised that they knew so much" about him.  Fogerty plays the part of a musician whose guitar is stolen, but John says the guitar seemed to be more of "a metaphor" for everything he's lost in his life.  However, Fogerty's character ends up getting his guitar back.   In addition to appearing on the show, Fogerty also wrote and performs the series' theme music.  "The Finder" will air on Fox Thursday night at 9:00 p.m.
