Ever fancy yourself a reality star? Well, if you’ve ever longed to become an overnight sensation, don’t stop believin’ because now there’s a class for that, and none other than Journey‘s Neal Schon will help show you the way.

On June 23, budding reality starlets in the El Paso, Texas area will have their chance to attend ‘How To Be A Reality Star,’ a live how-to guide that will feature ‘Housewives of D.C.’ alumni and former White House party crasher Michaele Salahi along with her current beau Schon, in addition to O.C. Housewife Gretchen Rossi and her boyfriend Slade Smiley.

Schon and Salahi made headlines earlier this year after Salahi left her husband and subsequently became involved with the Journey guitarist, who she had been friends with for many years, causing a media maelstrom and backlash from her husband Tareq who then sued the love birds citing ‘conspiracy to defame.’

The day-long ‘How to Be a Reality Star’ event will be hosted by celebrity columnist Rob Shuter. It will give attendees the chance to attend workshops, in addition to unique opportunities to meet and audition with casting directors and producers from a broad spectrum of reality TV niches — from game shows and talk shows to ensemble cast series such as ‘Real World.’

No word yet on exactly what Schon and Salahi will be contributing to the event besides lending their morale support, but if anyone can help newbies maneuver through the dramatic world of reality TV, these two can. Or perhaps Schon will dole out some advice on how to become an overnight internet sensation — after all, Journey did find their current vocalist Arnel Pineda on YouTube.

Tickets will be available at ticketfly.com starting on Friday, April 27. You can also listen for your chance to win tickets on El Paso’s KISS FM, 93.1.

If you prefer to see Schon in his natural habitat, Journey is set to kick off a summer tour with Pat Benatar and Loverboy starting in late July.
