It looks like Keith Richards' kids won't need to worry about picking out a coffin for the old man after he's gone — or even fighting over where to keep his remains.

According to the U.K.'s Daily Mirror tabloid, the Rolling Stones guitarist intends to go out in style: He's quoted as saying he wants his daughters, Alexandra and Theodora, to snort his ashes after he dies.

"I’ll give them a straw," Richards reportedly told the paper.

While snorting a loved one's ashes isn't the most common way of paying last respects, Richards fans will no doubt recall that this has been something of a recurring theme for him over the last decade or so. In 2007, he made headlines when NME quoted him as saying he'd done it with his dad's remains — after mixing them with cocaine.

"The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father. He was cremated and I couldn’t resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow," he said. "My dad wouldn’t have cared, he didn’t give a s---. It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."

He later attempted to clarify the situation, saying he'd done it after some of the ashes spilled onto a table. "What am I gonna do? Do I desecrate them with a dustbin and broom? So I wet my finger and I shoved a little bit of Dad up me hooter," he shrugged. "The rest of them I put round an oak tree."
