With Black Sabbath winding down and Sharon Osbourne stating earlier this year that she wants Ozzy Osbourne to retire by the time he hits 70, the musical future for the "Prince of Darkness" may have a time limit. But during a recent interview, keyboardist Adam Wakeman, who has assisted by Ozzy and Black Sabbath, revealed that the vocalist is interested in at least one more album and touring cycle.

Speaking with Eonmusic, Wakeman was asked about the end of Sabbath's tour. He explained, "Well they’re finishing on Feb. 4, and then we’ll see what happens with Ozzy after that. I mean, he wants to do another tour, he wants to do another album, but there’s going to be a period of time when he needs a rest, so yeah, hopefully we’ll be back out."

Wakeman started his tenure with Ozzy's solo outfit on the Black Rain album, and later got to co-write some of the songs on the Scream disc. He says, "It’s great to be involved in the studio stuff as well as the live stuff. I mean, I don’t know for the next one – who knows? But one of the great things about Ozzy, is he reinvents himself, and he works with different producers and musicians. I mean, he’s very happy with his band, so hopefully that will continue. I’m there whenever he needs me."

The musician says he's enjoyed his time with Sabbath, stating, "It’s been great. I was lucky enough to start with them in 2003, so this is my thirteenth year with Ozzy and Sabbath. I keep half expecting a picture of a spitfire and a watch at the end of each tour, but they keep asking me back, and I’m happy to come."
