A group of "good fellows" will be celebrating Kid Rock's charitable work this fall.  According to "The Detroit News," the Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit is honoring Kid Rock at the organization's annual tribute breakfast.  The group's president, Mike Coakley, says they're "excited and proud" to name Rock the Edward H. McNamara Goodfellow of the Year.  Past recipients of the award include former Detroit Tigers manager Sparky Anderson and Detroit Pistons star Dave Bing.  Coakley adds that he hopes giving the award to a "world- renowned" recording artist will help raise awareness about the Detroit Goodfellows.  The tribute breakfast also serves as one of the group's major fundraisers.  It's scheduled to take place September 30th and more information can be found at DetroitGoodfellows.com.
