Lapeer Beats Midland 49-21

The Lapeer Lightning came out on top when the two best teams in the Saginaw Valley League faced-off at Midland Community Stadium on Friday. With the win over the Midland, Lapeer clinches at least a share of the SVL Red Division title. And by beating previously unbeaten Midland, a message was sent to the next team on Lapeer’s schedule: Flint Carman-Ainsworth. Losing to Lapeer by three points, Carman-Ainsworth came the closest to beating Lapeer in the regular season last year.
