Lapeer Lightning Football Season Comes to an End

As the saying goes “all good things must come to an end” and unfortunately that’s the case for Lapeer Lightning football this season.

The first season of Lightning football brought together the former Lapeer East and West schools. The Lightning went undefeated in the regular season, 9-0 and won one playoff game against Romeo. Unfortunately the Lightning came up just a little short on Friday night against Clarkston, the defending state champs, losing 23-20.

Hats off to the Lapeer Lightning for a great first season! Congrats and looking forward to next year!
