I should start by saying that the recipes included in the free Colonel Harland Sanders autobiography don't include the secret blend of herbs and spices that made his fried chicken world famous, but it promises to be a good read, and there are some fantastic southern recipes. Did I mention that you can have it for free? Details after the jump!

"This book, written in 1966 and discovered by accident, is about a man's life and the food he's cooked, eaten and served. That man is me." says the Colonel in the introduction to his autobiography. The book offers details on his  rise as a fried chicken icon, and 33 "never seen recipes" including his potato pancakes and up-side down peach cobbler.
