If you live near a fire hydrant, firefighters are asking you to clear the snow around it.

Firefighters need to be able to see and access a fire hydrant within minutes of a blaze. Reports indicate you should clear a path from the hydrant to the street and leave at least 3 feet of space for a hose to hook up. If you live near a hydrant but are incapable of clearing a path, please notify your local fire department.
