Man Falls In Hole While Walking and Texting [VIDEO]

This is almost too stupid not to be true. I have no idea how the man in the video above did not see a barrier around an open hole - but apparently he did not. I know texting can be distracting, but this is ridiculous.

According to the Daily Mail, Luis Alberto Cruces Berdejo was seriously injured when he fell through the uncovered manhole at a construction site. A street camera captured the footage and lucky for Berdejo, a passerby called for help. Firefighters pulled him out, and he was then taken to the hospital.

Watching something like this totally makes me think of people texting and driving. Just think about how distracting that is. Thankfully this man only injured himself. If you do text and drive - stop. It is so dangerous. That being said, if you walk and text - stop. The later seems to be pretty dangerous too.
