Mark Farner Visits Flint and Talks About Tour, Health, and Water Crisis [VIDEO]

The tour kicks off Saturday with George Thorogood and the Destroyers at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. The Flint native, and founding member of Grand Funk Railroad, stopped at home before the trek and it sounds like he's ready to ROCK!

Judging by this interview, it seems safe to say that not only is he a genuine, stand-up, kind of guy, but that he's deeply in love with his hometown. Farner tells ABC 12 "there's a spirit in this city" and he feels confident that the people and the city of Flint will pull through the water crisis. He also affirms that his voice is doing better than it has in a long time, which is in part because of his acoustic shows.
