Marvel’s Netflix Daredevil swept us to the floor once again with its latest full-length trailer, but with April 10 still a month away, we couldn’t resist diving even deeper into the new promo, and radar-sensing every spoiler within. Get an eyeful of everything you need to see in the second official trailer for Marvel’s Netflix Daredevil series!

We’ve avoided repeating anything from our breakdown of the first official trailer, so beware of potential spoilers, including what we saw at New York Comic-Con, and check out everything we found in our inside look below:

Wilson Fisk Shows His Face

Granted, we caught our first look at Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk in the recent photos, here we see our first clear look at the new Kingpin in action, and particularly physical, judging by the ease with which he takes down opponents.

When I was a kid, I used to dream what it would be like to live somewhere far away from Hell’s Kitchen. But I realized, this city was a part of me. It was in my blood, and I would do anything to make it a better place.

Showrunners have previously stated that the first season of Daredevil will be every bit as much Fisk’s rise to power as Matt’s Murdock’s, and the love story between FIsk and Ayelet Zurer’s Vanessa will play a strong part in Fisk’s journey. D’Onofrio has also intriguingly described the character both as “a child and a monster.”

Blind Justice

Here we actually get to see Matt Murdock getting his lawyer on, though predictably struggling with it, while later on we see Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson cheering him up with “We’re gonna make a difference. I know it doesn’t feel like it sometimes, but we are.”

Good and evil. Sometimes the difference between the two is a sharp line. Sometimes it’s a blur. Sometimes we have to do some things outside of the law.

Early on, we see Matt, Foggy and Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page sharing dinner in the ramshackle offices of their firm, though later on Nelson and Murdock graduate to full-on plaque status. Karen will come to work for the pair, particularly after needing protection over a flash drive of incriminating info.

Meet Ben Urich

Here, we get our first look at Vondie Curtis-Hall as reporter Ben Urich, likely working for a generic New York paper, rather than the Daily Bugle (unless Marvel sprung to change the papers in post after the Spider-Man deal). Using playing cards, we also see Urich attempting to piece together the Kingpin’s hierarchy, involving everyone from the Chinese, to Russians, heroin addicts, and names like “Vladimir,” “Union Allied,” “Farnum” and “McClintock.” Any takers, comic fans?

Stick Figure

Though visible in the first trailer, the latest look at Marvel’s Daredevil affords its first speaking role to The Leftovers star Scott Glenn as Matt’s mentor Stick, who trains the boy after his blindness and subsequent sense overload.

‘I hear things.’

‘You know what they call stuff like that? Gifts. I’m gonna train you. Use it.’

Young Matt certainly seems to take to the training well, considering the flips we see him accomplishing with Daredevil’s trademark batons.

Wesley 2.0?

Maybe if he had an iron suit, or a magic hammer, that would explain why you keep getting your asses handed to you.

Glimpsed several times throughout the trailer, here we see actor Toby Leonard Moore in a role believed to be that of Wesley Owen Welch, historically the Kingpin’s right-hand man. He certainly seems to be aligned with the forces of evil, as we saw Matt listening in on him in the previous trailer, while this time around the character chides thugs for their failure with a few Avengers references.

Who Dat Ninja?

No, seriously, who might this be? It’s the first we’ve seen of other costumed martial artists outside of Matt Murdock, and the distinctly red color can’t be a coincidence. It looks like a male figure, so could we be seeing an operative of Marvel ninja villains “The Hand?”

It seems the most likely explanation, given the comic Stick’s past with The Hand, and one that also might one day lead us down the path of introducing Netflix’s MCU Elektra…

Dat Fisk, He Mad

We don’t really have anything to say about this. Dat Fisk tho. He all mad.

‘You and I have a lot in common.’

‘We’re nothing alike.’

‘I respect your conviction. The lone man thinks he can make a difference.’

A Taste of the Endgame?

It may not be a Chitauri invasion, or an army of Ultron-bots, but New York certainly looks to be in some peril, judging by the street-level news footage of citizens fleeing. Might we be seeing a tasted of the season’s climax?

Here we see the childhood origins of Matt Murdock’s incredible abilities, the boy having been blinded by an errant spill of hazardous chemicals. John Patrick Hayden’s Jack Murdock is also seen cradling him, while a crowd of onlookers observe the scene of the accident.

Battlin’ Jack

As if the point weren’t hammered home enough, here we see Matt’s father on the way to a boxing match, “Battlin’ Jack Murdock emblazoned on the back. Still unexplained however, and a possible tie-in to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., is that showrunner Steven DeKnight previously tweeted a fight card suggesting Murdock’s opponent as Carl “Crusher” Creel, better known as Marvel’s Absorbing Man!

Well, what else did you sense? Stay tuned for the latest from Marvel’s Daredevil, rewatch the first trailers below, and prepare for all 13 episodes to make their Netflix premiere on April 10!
