Rolling Stone magazine has confirmed reports that Clarence Clemons has suffered a stroke. The news broke Sunday evening at 411.com, that Clemons was "seriously ill after a stroke at his home in Florida." The magazine also reported that they had no information on the severity of the stroke, but have independently confirmed that the E Street Band saxophonist had suffered a stroke.  Clemons has recently gone through a series of medical ailments - mostly involving his back and knees - over the past decade. The problem with his knees and back hasn’t caused him to miss any concerts, but he has suffered a tremendous amount of pain and discomfort.
