A Michigan man could be facing up to 12 years in prison after police discovered he had recorded two women using a public bathroom in Livingston County.

37-year-old Joshua Porter was arraigned in Livingston County District Court on Tuesday and was charged with three counts of using a computer to commit a crime. The Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigated Porter after they were alerted about his online activities.

Police discovered Porter had recorded two adult women while they were using the bathroom secretly and was in possession of the recordings.  A warrant was then issued and Porter was arrested.

Police say the crimes were committed some time between April and August 2016. If convicted Porter could face up to 12 years in prison.
