Although the mother of a 2-year-old Michigan boy was home, the toddler was able to find a rifle in a closet - fire some shots which wounded his 4-month-old baby sister. Reports all use the word 'wounded' and indicate the little girl had a 'graze' wound.

The incident happened last night in Muskegon County. Authorities confiscated the .22-caliber rifle and are reviewing the case. Child Protective Services are also involved. The baby was treated at a hospital and released. Why anyone would keep a gun where a child is able to access it is beyond me.
