You can relax, Motley Crue fans: Mick Mars is doing fine after being knocked down by an overzealous fan during the band's May 4 show in Saskatchewan.

Mars shared the news with fans directly, taking to Twitter to say, "Thank all of you for your concerns about me being knocked down last night I'm alright nothing broken. My body guard Rhyno got 2 busted ribs."

As many are already aware, Mars' fall was a little extra scary because he suffers from a painful degenerative condition called ankylosing spondylitis (AS), which gradually reduces mobility by fusing the sufferer's bones together -- and lends an added element of risk to things like, say, being tackled while you're trying to do your job.

Mars' attacker also made a lunge for singer Vince Neil, who has to be getting pretty tired of seeing this kind of thing from the stage; in fact, last December, he actually took a swing at an unruly audience member during one of his solo shows, and ended up narrowly avoiding a further altercation when the fan -- who had been ejected -- came back with some friends and tried sneaking backstage to start a brawl.

All in all, the members of the band have to be feeling pretty good about their retirement announcement right now -- with the exception of poor busted Rhyno, who we assume is getting plenty of pain meds and rest. Here's hoping everyone else manages to stay in their seats during the rest of the Crue's tour dates.
