The Marguerite deAngeli Branch of the Lapeer District Library at 921 W. Nepessing St. in Lapeer is pleased to announce a new monthly classical music appreciation series beginning September 5th.

Enjoy an enlightening session of classical music on the first Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. “Fabs” Kaldobsky, a music aficionado, will present recorded classics and lead a discussion about the composers, instruments, and musical styles. Each program will run about 90 minutes, and light refreshments will be provided.

"Fabs" has had a life-long love of classical music, volunteering to share his knowledge with Michigan library patrons since 1992. “The Lapeer District Library is honored to host this series, and we are excited to bring Fabs’ knowledge and expertise to our patrons,” states Laura Fromwiller, reference department head.

No registration is necessary for this interactive program. Please call (810) 664-6971 for more information. To find out more about this or other upcoming library events please visit www.library.lapeer.org.
