Mt. Morris Township Great Western Inn Ordered Closed

The Great Western hotel in Mt. Morris Township has officially been court ordered to close.

The hotel located on West Pierson Road reportedly is a hub for drugs, prostitution, and possibly human trafficking. The Mount Morris Police Department were at the hotel today to post court-ordered closing signs on the doors of the hotel. As of now, the hotel will be closed for one year. Anyone who paid in advance and is currently living and or staying there will be allowed to stay up to the date they paid up to.

Since the beginning of 2018, police have received up to 100 calls on this hotel. Some of you may remember a body of a woman was found there in June of this year. Do you live near this hotel? Have you seen anything that made you suspicious?
