Awesome! NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) just announced it's findings of liquid water on Mars.

It's official, after years of pouring over photos and data from Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, it was announced today at 11:30 a.m. EST, that there is in fact water on Mars. Here's that NASA's Facebook page reads:

Liquid water flows on present-day Mars! Researchers using our Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter detected signatures of hydrated minerals on slopes where mysterious dark streaks are seen on the Red Planet. Scientists say it’s likely a shallow subsurface flow, with enough water wicking to the surface to explain the darkening. This is a significant science discovery on our quest to send humans on a #JourneyToMars.

Science rocks! This discovery has major implications that maybe someday human life could be sustainable on Mars. Vacation to Mars? Yes please.
