Neil Young is slated to appear at this summer's BookExpo America in conjunction with his upcoming memoir, "Waging Heavy Peace." For "A Conversation with Neil Young" the rocker will take part in a Q-and-A session to discuss his book before an audience. BookExpo describes "Waging Heavy Peace" as "a kaleidoscopic view" of Young's "personal life and musical creativity."  The event will take place at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City from June 4th through the 7th.  Young's interview is scheduled for June 6th.

Neil recently told Rollingstone.com he felt very comfortable writing his book, saying the project fit him "like a glove."  He added that as he worked he followed his dad's philosophy, which was to "just keep writing, you never know what will turn up."  Young's father was a sports journalist.  "Waging Heavy Peace" is expected to arrive in stores this fall.
