Black Sabbath's empire has expanded into the garment business. The band has teamed up with Supreme and are introducing the product today at company stores in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and online.
According to Supreme's website, Black Sabbath is an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1968 by Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. The band is widely considered a pioneer of heavy metal. Singing of horror, occult and political corruption over tuned-down guitars, their music was a dark response to the upbeat music that dominated rock at the time. To this day, Black Sabbath is a cultural symbol of the genre they helped create.
Supreme has worked with Black Sabbath on a collection for Spring 2016. The collection consists of a Denim Trucker Jacket, Hooded Parka, Hockey Jersey, Hooded Sweatshirt, Crewneck Sweatshirt, Long Sleeve T-Shirt, four Short Sleeve T-Shirts, a 5-Panel Hat and a Rug by Gallery1950.
