New Magical Mystery Tour On The Way

Word is that a  DVD/Blue ray reissue of The Beatle's "Magical Mystery Tour" film, will be released on October 9th (John Lennon's birthday). The new package will include an optional director's commentary by Paul McCartney as well as bonus videos. The original TV movie was Paul's idea, an unscripted film of a bus trip shot around Beatle's tunes produced in September 1967 and broadcast on BBC-TV.  The restored film and a behind-the-scenes documentary will be shown on October 2nd at the British Film Institute before it comes to America on PBS tv.
