Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels introduced Motor City rock and roll to the world. Flashing back to the mid 1960's the city of Detroit was known has the home of Motown Records. In 1965 the city also became know worldwide as the home of Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels when the band had their first top ten hit record "Jenny Take a Ride!". The group would have have other hits including "Sock It to Me, Baby!", "Little Latin Lupe Lu", "Too Many Fish in the Sea" and the bands biggest hit "Devil with a Blue Dress On".
