In 1965 the city also became know worldwide as the home of Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels when the band had their first top ten hit record "Jenny Take a Ride!". The group would have have other hits including "Sock It to Me, Baby!", "Little Latin Lupe Lu", "Too Many Fish in the Sea" and the bands biggest hit "Devil with a Blue Dress On".
