Starter Doug Fister picked up his first win as a Detroit Tiger last night.  The Tigers took their second in a row against the Texas Rangers, 5 – 4.  Fister allowed three runs, two earned, on eight hits in seven innings.  Jose Valverde got his 30th save in as many attempts this season.  The Tiger offense was led by Ryan Raburn, Miguel Cabrera and Alex Avila.  Brad Penny takes the mound for Detroit in today’s afternoon series wrap-up.  GO TIGERS!
