Projected first-round NFL draft pick Alec Ogletree of Georgia was charged with DUI in Arizona last weekend, his agent said. One of the best inside-linebacker prospects in the 2013 NFL Draft pool, Ogletree was expected to be taken in the first round of April's draft.

"Last weekend, my client Alec Ogletree was pulled over for speeding and a lane violation in Arizona," Ogletree's agent, Pat Dye, Jr., said in a statement to Pro Football Talk.

"After the officers smelled alcohol, they conducted tests and also cited him for DUI. Although Alec regrets this incident terribly, he is thankful that there was no accident and that no one was hurt. Because this matter is still pending, we cannot comment further publicly at this time."

While at Georgia in 2012, Ogletree was suspended for four games after a positive drug test. He was also arrested and charged with theft after taking a Georgia track athlete's motorcycle helmet his freshman year.

The NFL Scouting Combine is scheduled for Feb. 23-26 in Indianapolis.
