Roger Waters quitting Pink Floyd was a huge deal, but I don't know I'd go that far with this comparison!

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason admitted in a recent interview that moving forward after Waters left the band wasn't exactly easy saying "it must have been the same way when Stalin died." Huh? Granted a band that loses its creative leader is going to have a tough time for a bit, but comparing it to what the Soviet Union went through after Stalin passed away? That's taking it a little too far. Agree?
