Ozzy Goes Bats

This week in 1982, Ozzy Osbourne made news by biting the head off a dead bat on stage at a concert in Des Moines, Iowa. After the show Ozzy was off to the local hospital for a round of rabies shots. According to a spokesperson for Ozzy, Mr. Osbourne thought the bat was a plastic toy bat.

Ozzy and Black Sabbath are getting ready to hit the road again but no bats on the tour.
