The success Black Sabbath are currently experiencing after the release of '13' is pretty spectacular -- so spectacular in fact that fans worldwide are already begging for a follow-up album. Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne is excited about the band's future, even stating in a new interview that he hopes original drummer Bill Ward will return to the band if the time comes to create Black Sabbath's 20th studio album.

Black Sabbath's '13' debuted at the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top 200 this week, a feat which the band had never before achieved in the U.S. The disc also topped the U.K. charts for the first time since 'Paranoid' was released in 1970. In response to Sabbath's monumental success, NME asked Ozzy Osbourne if a Bill Ward return could be in the cards. "It's a strong possibility," Ozzy responded. "We would have loved to have Bill on this album. Maybe we can work things out by the next one. But it won't take another 35 years. I'm 65 now. There's no f---ing recording studios in the afterlife. We're all even closer for all this s--t, so there's one positive, one f---ing silver lining."

The Sabbath singer also hopes that '13' will supersede his public image created by his stint as a reality star on 'The Osbournes.' "Of course I regret doing the fucking show," admits Ozzy. "I didn't want to be on f---ing television. I didn't become a f---ing rock 'n' roll singer to read the f---ing weather forecast, know what I mean? it's part of the reason I wanted to come back. This album pisses on all that."

As for Black Sabbath's future, it's guitarist Tony Iommi who will mostly dictate what Sabbath does next. “It depends on Tony,” Ozzy tells the Telegraph. "At the moment, we’re doing so many weeks on the road, then he has to go back for more treatment. He’s had chemo and radiotherapy, and now he’s on a thing to boost his immune system. I really hope it’s gone for good. I’m sure it has. But you never know with that stuff.” Iommi himself added, “It’s all down to God."
