It's official now Paul McCartney will be the final performer at the three-hour opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in London on July 27th. The rumor is that Sir Paul will end his set with one of the most famous sing-along tunes The Beatles "Hey Jude" involving the 60,000 people at the stadium as well as the expected one billion television viewers.

This probably is the reason he refused to perform the 1968 classic at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert last month — he was saving it the Olympics show!
