Paul McCartney Detroit Concert Date And Two New Reissues
Paul McCartney’s schedule is getting even busier. The music legend has added three more major dates to his “On The Run” trek. The first of these is at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan on July 24th. He has also added concerts at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on July 31st and at The Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 4th. Tickets for Detroit show go on sale Friday, June 17th. The Chicago tickets go on sale next Monday, June 20th.
Paul McCartney also has a new video. The Beatles legend just released a clip for “Blue Sway.” The track was recorded over two decades ago, but it’s just now seeing the light of day on a remastered version of McCartney’s second solo album, 1980’s “McCartney II.” Most of the “Blue Sway” video is set under water. Through advanced technology, the clip takes fans into actual waves. The video is now on YouTube.
The “McCartney II” reissue and a separate reissue of its 1970 predecessor “McCartney” arrive in stores today. Extras on a deluxe version of “McCartney” include two previously-unreleased songs called “Suicide” and “Don’t Cry Baby.” A hardbound book with photos by the late Linda McCartney is part of the “McCartney II” deluxe set, as is the “Blue Sway” clip.
