Paul McCartney is once again a married man.  Paul and his bride, Nancy Shevell, tied the knot Sunday at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London. Nancy wore an ivory dress with matching shoes while Paul was in a blue suit for the occasion.  In sealing their commitment, People.com says Paul gave Nancy a Neil Lane diamond and platinum eternity band.  Two of Paul's daughters were involved in the ceremony.  Stella McCartney designed the bride and groom's outfits, while seven-year-old Beatrice was the flower girl.  Guests included Ringo Starr, his wife, Barbara Bach, and George Harrison's widow Olivia, as well as Paul's brother Mike, Nancy's son Arlen, and Barbara Walters -- who is Nancy's cousin.

As he and Nancy left the Town Hall Paul told the crowd gathered outside that the ceremony "was terrific."  The newlyweds then hosted a reception at McCartney's home.  They also plan to have another reception in New York in the coming weeks.

Their wedding took place on a date that already had significance to Beatles fans.  Sunday would have been the late John Lennon's 71st birthday.
