Paul McCartney is providing some assistance to people who want to trim the meat from their diet.  He's helping to expanding the "Meat Free Monday" campaign with a new cookbook.  Paul created "The Meat Free Monday Cookbook" with his daughters Mary and Stella. The book features 52 days' worth of vegetarian menu ideas to cover every Monday of the year. Two main courses and four other ideas are offered for each Monday, with options for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.  The collection includes favorite recipes from the former Beatle's own kitchen, as well as contributions from such stars as Woody Harrelson, Kevin Spacey, Pink, and others.  The McCartneys' "Meat Free Monday Cookbook" is available now.

"The Meat Free Monday Cookbook" isn't the first collection of vegetarian recipes to come from the McCartney household.  Paul's first wife, the late Linda McCartney, had published three vegetarian cookbooks, "Linda McCartney's Home Cooking," "Linda's Kitchen," and "Simple and Inspiring Recipes for Meatless Meals."  She also had her own line of frozen vegetarian meals.
