Peak Fall Color – This Weekend!

Depending where you look, most of the trees are still hanging on to their colorful leaves, and this weekend is supposed to be the peak time for it. No plans today or tomorrow? Get into Lapeer and board the bus!  The folks at the Made-In-Michigan-Film-Festival have put together a fall color tour of some cool highlights around the area, all from the comfort of a bus, for free! The bus departs from the Courthouse at 10am and 2pm both Saturday and Sunday, expecting each tour to last about 3 1/2 hours. You'll be taken to Dale Vronch’s working artist studio at 895 Winn Lake, the Historic Hadley Grist Mill and Covered Bridge at 3368 Hadley Road, the William Peters Mansion, an elegant bed & breakfast at 4407 Water in Columbiaville and home to the Natural Comfort Spa, Mike Monville’s working artist studio and the Past Tense Cider Mill and Country Store 1965 Farnsworth in Lapeer.
