Mike Rupp, a forward for the Pittsburgh Penguins, hit the rink's boards during warm-ups at a recent game, accidentally knocking over a fan's beer on the other side. But rather than ignoring the trouble he caused, the NHL player apologized to the fan with a puck and some cash.  Rupp wrote an apology on a puck, signed it and taped the $10 bill around it. He went over to the glass, got the guy’s attention and tossed the puck over to him.  The Toronto Sun reported that the fan smiled and gave Rupp a thumbs up after reading the puck's note.
