Photos From My Recent Southern Trip – Check ‘em Out Y’all!

Debbie and I take at least one trip south every year, usually to our favorite getaway, St. Augustine, Florida.  But this year we decided to go somewhere different and check out a few places.  We love the rich history of the east coast, especially the southern east coast.  Hot!  I’m not kidding…the heat this year was nearly oppressive, but we dealt with it.  We spent 4 full days in Charleston, South Carolina, which is easily one of the most beautiful cities in the south.  Then down to Savannah, Georgia for 2 more days, a town I’d yet to see when it wasn’t raining.  There was plenty of sun this time!  Yes.  I know I keep saying this to people because I mean it…one of these days it will be a one way drive down south.  I’m so taken by it’s beauty, it’s history and the hustle bustle of business and people everywhere.  And no winter!  Well, OK, very mild winters.  I’d rather sweat a little than freeze a lot!
