A pilot lost his life after a horrible crash at an air show just southwest of Madrid, Spain yesterday. The vintage jet pilot apparently survived the initial crash, but died later at the hospital.

A spokesman for Spain's Airport Authority reported that there were around 3,000 spectators at the Cuatro Vientos Airfield watching the showcase of aerial acrobatics and vintage aircraft when the plane crashed. No one was hurt except for the pilot.
