Prepare Your Garden Goodies For Winter

Lapeer County Michigan State University Extension will offer a class called “Gifts from the Garden-Fruit Syrups and Flavored Vinegars”. The class takes place on Thursday, October 24th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Country Christian Church on North Lapeer Road in North Branch.

Learn the basics of food preservation how to successfully and safely use a water bath canner for acid foods. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference. You will also leave with a jar of raspberry vinegar and a jar of delicious homemade syrup.
