Pretenders on today’s Vault – back to the beginnings

Here's proof that Vault tracks don't have to be a hundred years old and steeped in patchouli.  A Pretenders single from 1981!  Well, that was 30 years ago, and it still stands the test of time, even if it didn't last on too many radio playlists.  The band became huge a year later so some of these earlier tunes were forgotten.  But not by fans!  Check out "Talk of the Town", a track you might remember from MTV's formative years.  Out of town?  Listen live on-line.
