Proposed Improvements to M-24 Discussed at Meetings

The Michigan Department of Transportation has scheduled an informational meeting regarding proposed improvements on M-24, from south of I-69 to Nepessing Street in the city of Lapeer, and Lapeer Township. It is scheduled in two sessions for Monday, April 7th at 4pm, and again at 5:30pm at the Lapeer City Hall Commission Chambers.MDOT staff will be on hand along with contractor representatives, and business owners and interested residents are also welcome. You can review the construction plans, ask questions, and provide your input. The project is intended to enhance safety, increase ride quality, and provide traffic congestion relief
