The Detroit Red Wings beat the Chicago Blackhawks in the regular season finale for both teams in Chicago yesterday afternoon.  The final score … 4 – 3.  In losing in regulation, the Blackhawks risked not making the playoffs and had to rely on a Minnesota Wild win over the Dallas Stars to pick up the final playoff slot.  Drew Miller, Danny Cleary, Tomas Holmstrom and Pavel Datsyuk scored for the Red Wings, who had already locked down the No. 3 playoff seed in the West.  The Red Wings open up the playoffs against the Phoenix Coyotes.
