The St. Louis Blues pounded the Detroit Red Wings 10 - 3 on Wednesday night.  The Red Wings gave up eight goals in the first two periods of a game for the first time since 1986 and 10 in a game for the first time since 1993.  The Red Wings were booed off the ice after starting goalie Joey MacDonald gave up seven goals and backup Thomas McCollum gave up three goals on eight shots.  Detroit's won only one of their last six games.  Their lead over San Jose is just a point in a race to be the second-seeded team in the Western Conference playoffs.
