It was February 5, 1962; Ringo Starr made his first appearance on drums for The Beatles. The story goes that Ringo had a day off from his regular gig with The Hurricanes who he played drums for. Pete Best the drummer for The Beatles was home sick when the lunchtime show at the Cavern Club was scheduled to go. The Beatles called Ringo in and he would also sit in that evening when they played at Kingsway Club.

Eventually Ringo was invited to back and the rest is rock history.

Stop by for The Beatles Breakfast Jam at 6:30 weekday mornings.
